I remember Ted Cruz making this statement during the 2016 campaign regarding some stuff in National Enquirer and remarks Trump made about Cruz wife.

I remember sort of mocking Cruz at the time for what seemed like a sort of cartoonish line of attack...like "henchmen eh? who are you Spiderman?!"

But Cruz was exactly right - "HENCHMEN" a faithful follower or political supporter, especially one prepared to engage in crime or dishonest practices by way of service"

That fits the description of the people in Trumps orbit to a T...

And Cruz appears to be right on target regarding some of his comments on David Pecker.
