Geraldo Rivera Tears Into 'Sleazebag' Michael Cohen: He's 'The Chief Snitch and King Rat'

Geraldo Rivera raked Michael Cohen across the coals on Friday when he beamed into Fox & Friends and reacted to the latest comments from Donald Trump‘s former personal lawyer.

The conversation gravitated around Cohen’s interview with ABC, during which, he got emotional as he rebuked the president for claiming he didn’t direct the illegal hush money schemes to suppress the stories of his extramarital affairs. Rivera got right to the point by saying Cohen is “full of crap,” even as he begrudgingly admitted Cohen’s a source of “real peril” for for Trump

“It seems like Michael Cohen is trying very hard to be the John Dean of the Trump White House,” Rivera said. “He wants to be the king rat, the chief snitch.”

As Fox & Friends talked about how Cohen is accusing Trump of lying and violating campaign finance law, Rivera continued to pummel him as “a serial manipulator and a con man.” At one point, he got very frank and said “Michael Cohen is the president’s worst nightmare, thank goodness that a sitting president cannot be indicted.”

In terms of whether Cohen is undermining Trump by lying or telling the truth, Rivera grumbled that Cohen is a “malicious” and self serving “sleezebag” who’s trying to save his own skin. Rivera also blamed Robert Mueller for the entire situation, suggesting it happened because the special counsel investigation on Russia is “fraught with immorality.”
