I mean, if someone really wanted to discredit conservatives, it would be actually far more effective to take the most whack-a-doodle, insane, idiotic, bat guano crazy people and groups... Alex Jones, Laura Loomer, QAnon, the alt-right, Jerome Corsi, Wayne Allyn Root, Tomi Lahren, Pizzagate, the Flynn family, Breitbart, and so on; and say "These people. These people are conservatism, they are the scholars and generals of the right wing."
But it's not Google doing that.
It's not some liberal and/or George Soros conspiracy.
There's only one group behind this... Conservatives themselves.

(35,055 posts)That was right after Tx. citizens went to TN. to protect the military from citizens who attacked them. Jade Helm is where they called out the National Guard to protect the citizens from the military. So I thought the ones in TN. should be protecting the military from the National Guard. Do I have that right?

I think I've had occasions I've been shadowbanned at well and I'm not exactly a very confrontational tweeter.

(12,647 posts)Seriously. Conservatives like these types don't associate with anyone who doesn't think like them if they can help it at all. They constantly reinforce the delusion that they are mainstream, instead of just 15% on a "good day" when there's more people than normal running around off meds.
They create a small world around them, and they think they can run it.
And the reality that even that small world can't support both the style of living they want to have and their feeble revenge fantasies frustrates the hell out of them, enough to trigger all sorts of temper tantrums.
