1. Surprisingly, enough... or maybe not. The NE has vanished from my local grocery store, too.

I looked for the rag recently, when the Pecker news began breaking and it was gone from the checkouts.

Even the tabs indicating what tabloid held which position in the racks were gone. So, it would seem to be a permanent situation.
