The masturbation president, SOWB, and a cure for fascism?

Research blames the conservative/authoritarian/fascist political spectrum on a wide range of possible causes that include strict parenting, paternalism, religion, sexual repression, and social and political environment. Brain structure 1 and genetics 2 may also be factors.

The sex on the wrong brain 3 theory suggests that on a population scale most of those factors are symptoms of and contributors to a more pervasive and direct underlying cause — humans have been imprinting long lasting ‘authoritarian wiring’ on their brains by learning sex with the wrong hand.

Left brain, right brain

The left side of the brain controls the right hand and the right side controls the left hand. Motion in the right hand activates the left side and visa versa.

Most brain functions involve both sides of the brain. The common notion that the left hemisphere is for logic, problem solving, and mathematics and the right hemisphere is for emotion, creativity, and orgasm is an oversimplification but those are generally accepted trends that go back centuries.

Language largely involves the left side, maybe because early humans used the dominant right hand for sign language. Brain scans show sex involves various areas of the brain but orgasm usually ends up ‘in’ the right side. That is also the side that shows most activity during the creative Eureka! or aha! moment.

What motivates authoritarians

In a 2003 study of previous research addressing conservatism, authoritarianism, and fascism researchers narrowed down what motivates authoritarians to something fairly specific — their heightened need to avoid uncertainty. They need certainty more than liberals.

The core ideology of conservatism stresses resistance to change and justification of inequality and is motivated by needs that vary situationally and dispositionally to manage uncertainty and threat (4)
The irrational need to avoid uncertainty amplifies real threats and creates others out of nothing. Research confirms that conservatives/authoritarians are easier to frighten 5,6.

Sex meets logic

Sex on the wrong brain (sowb) is what happens when reproductive urges that were supposed to stimulate emotion, excitement, and orgasm are diverted to functions that are supposed to be patient and objective.

For some people the sowb just takes a quick detour and eventually ends up where it’s supposed to go to fuel emotion, excitement, orgasm, and reproduction. In others it may stay to fuel other functions, reducing fuel for orgasm and reproduction. That circuitry may last a while.

When logic and problem solving meet sex, thinking and creativity become foreplay. Sowb just wants to get it over with. The impatient satisfaction-demanding sex energy prefers quick easy answers and conclusion.

But the universe is complicated and infinite and there is no satisfaction for sex on the wrong brain.

Harmless uncertainty and doubt, instead of stimulating curiosity and creativity, create frustration and anxiety. As it gets worse anxiety turns into fear. When the sowb gets really bad it will do anything for the finality of certainty.

Trump on sowb — manufacturing certainty and the sexual pleasure of denial

Fear drives authoritarians to manufacture certainty or accept previously manufactured certainty. That requires believing lies and denying reality.

To rationalize the alternative facts and denial authoritarians need creativity. That’s when some of that misdirected sex energy is released to the right side and finally reaches the pleasure centers where it was supposed to go in the first place. That’s when the sowb finally produces satisfaction. Certainty is created and the denial is rewarded with pleasure.

That’s the smile on Donald Trump’s face when he lies and denies with total royal certitude.

At some point in his life Donald Trump may have overcome fear and insecurity by wiring his brain to take advantage of symptoms of sex on the wrong brain and the pleasure of certitude. He’s always right and never wrong. He never apologizes. He helps his followers see the world in black and white, good and evil, fantastic and crappy.

The Kremlin may have recognized those authoritarian leadership qualities in him long ago.

The secret of authoritarian power

Wrong handed masturbation is the secret of authoritarian power.

Authoritarian leaders use uncertainty/threat/chaos to create anxiety and fear. To ease the fear they offer order, ritual, dogma, structure, and absolutism to help authoritarian followers simplify the complex, judge the world in black and white, and impose conformity and predictability. Religion, for instance, helps authoritarians simplify and judge with absolutes — to manufacture certainty.

Global warming is an example. Republican media has exaggerated and distorted the scientific complexities and uncertainties associated with global warming to lead gullible Americans through planet-destroying fear and denial to one simple certainty — global warming is a hoax.

The immigration issue is another example. Immigrants in caravans seeking asylum in the US were characterized as gang members, disease-carriers, and drug runners. To stop this oncoming threat to our ‘motherland’ Trump continues to propose a single simple and very certain solution — a giant wall.

In the 2016 elections Republican radio, Fox, and the Kremlin covered Hillary Clinton with a cloud of uncertainty. Trump brought the joy or certainty.

For authoritarians, democracy is too complicated, disorderly, and unpredictable. So is nature, which represents a constant source of uncertainty that needs to be controlled, or destroyed.

Certainty is more valuable than gold and more important than truth. Uncertainty is the stick and certainty is the carrot.

Authoritarianism is not ‘human nature’. The history of sowb.

Humans evolved in unpredictable and uncertain natural environments. In some situations there might be selection for authoritarian tendencies but within the wide spectrum of human diversity the difference between the curiosity and friendliness of the ‘New World’ natives and the authoritarian brutality of their European attackers suggests that the increase in the unnatural authoritarian drive for certainty is related to some aspect of human ‘civilization’.

The sowb problem got serious on a large scale when human populations began to delay the age of reproduction. Levels of sexual frustration increased and so did masturbation.

Most humans, especially males, still learn sex with the tool hand, the spear and hammer hand, the first choice for implementing action and problem solving throughout much of human evolution.

Democracy vs SOWB

Democracy was designed to regulate and reduce authoritarianism, greed and unregulated capitalism, misogyny, bigotry, nature-destruction, and other symptoms of sowb.

However, by default or design, authoritarians will always resist the cure — sex education.

With global warming we have reached a point where sowb is on the verge of destroying the planet. Sex education intervention is needed.

This theory has been around a while but the only comprehensive exploration of this has shown up recently in the book “Sex On the Wrong Brain” by Ard Falten
Anatomical differences between sexes suggest the problem is worse/different for males because they are more likely to use one hand and the tool hand only. An exception may be when vibrating devices are held in the right hand.
Scientists that scan for changes in neurological activity to study the brain typically exclude left handed subjects.
Republicans may have distorted recent neurological research and publicized it to contradict left/logical right/creative generalizations in order to slow the spread of mindfulness and meditation training in schools.
Wilhelm Reich studied the rise of fascism in pre WW2 Europe and published the “The Mass Psychology of Fascism” in 1933. He believed (I think I’m getting this right) that children didn’t have a concept of god so associating early masturbation and pre-marital sex with religious guilt, punishment, and fear of god resulted in fear of the father and that created the paternalistic family unit, which was basically training to worship a fuhrer/king. In 1956, after he escaped to the US, a Food and Drug Administration judge ordered the book burned.
