On the assumption that the Supreme Court upholds

President Trump celebrated Saturday a federal judge in Texas's Friday decision that if upheld would declare most of the Affordable Care Act unconstitutional.

In comments to pool reporters shortly after visiting Arlington National Cemetery for a wreath-laying ceremony on Saturday, Trump called on Democrats to sit down with him and negotiate a replacement plan that could pass through Congress and replace Obamacare.

“We’ll sit down with the Democrats, if the Supreme Court upholds, we’ll be sitting down with the Democrats and we will get great health care for our people, that’s a repeal and replace," Trump told reporters according to pool reports.

"It was a big, big victory by a highly respected judge, highly, highly respected in Texas," Trump added. "And on the assumption that the Supreme Court upholds, we will get great, great health care for our people."

"We’ll have to sit down with the Democrats to do it, but I’m sure they want to do it also," the president said of congressional Democratic leaders.

We will get great, great......nothing. We'll go back to the way things were pre-Obama. You know damn well the Republicans only believe the government is there for property protection, contract protection, and the military. That's it. Oh, and giving handouts to the wealthy. But that's it. They'll do nothing. And people will die for their ideals.

And Tiny seems to have forgotten - if he ever knew - that this decision still has a way to go before it gets to the Supreme Court. The losing party can petition for a rehearing by a panel (no oral argument); if that fails they appeal to a Circuit Court of Appeals, and then to the Supreme Court if the Supreme Court decides to hear the case (they probably would).

This should be fun to watch....nancy will have the House Majority, and it will be balls watching her tear the GOP into little tasty pieces of meat when their response is 'yep, still got NOTHING to replace with...'

If you don't have health insurance then you will die if you have cancer or a major disease. Donald Trump and his ilk are evil people.

And some fuckwad judge decides the SCOTUS was wrong all along? How many millions did he receive for that decision? That was my first thought when I saw it on teevee. Something is very fishy here.

Because this seems like a set up to me. Situate two super conservatives on the SCOTUS and then have another go at ACA... one last gasp. They are a bunch of assholes!

1. Supreme Court strikes down the ruling as most of them aren't willing to give Dems the Senate and the Presidency, which would result in the election next year as they triple the price of twenty million people's health-care. I don't think they're stupid, just evil.

2. Supreme Court lets the ruling stand with the intention of making legislating a new health-care program an election issue for next year painting the Dems as obstructionist. I really don't think this would work as most swing voters aren't as stupid as the Rs traditional base.

That thing in our White House is still on a rampage against anything associated with Obama. He has no clue about the judge, the lawsuit, the ruling, nor health care; all he knows is that Obama is associated with the ACA.

The orange tweeting turd is pathetic.

the exact same bill and call it "Trump-care" and he would sign it. It would be funny to watch. And the same people who fume about "Obama-care" would love their "Trump-care." Even it was 100% the same.

If it even gets to SCOTUS...... the appeals court might strike it down first.

But the 5 justices that upheld the ACA are still there despite the 2 seats that Putin stole from the People, and they aren't going to change their minds now.
