According to a report in the New York Times, Donald Trump and his siblings created a fake maintenance company in the ’90s which created bogus invoices to pad expenses, duck taxes and inflate the rent of their father’s properties.

In a deep dive, the Times said that in 1992, Trump and his family set up a phony company called All County Building Supply & Maintenance which did nothing but pay vendors — and then was reimbursed by their father, Fred Trump at a higher rate. The report states that money above and beyond what was warranted was then split between the kids allowing them to duck paying taxes on the excess cash.

Additionally, the fraudulently increased amounts were reported as “improvement costs,” allowing the family to raise rents on properties that were rent regulated.

In a sworn deposition, Trump’s brother Robert once admitted, “The higher the markup would be, the higher the rent that might be charged.”

According to the Times, one of their key findings was a financial disclosure form from Barry's Senate confirmation proceedings in 1999 to be a federal appellate judge. This financial form was not redacted, and Times reporter Susanne Craig, one of the three reporters who broke the story, noticed an oddity in the filing -- a $1 million contribution from a Trump family-owned company called All County Building Supply & Maintenance.

Craig, along with reporters David Barstow and Russ Buettner, began to investigate the company. People familiar with family patriarch Fred Trump told them that All County was a "middleman entity created by President Trump and his siblings essentially to move cash from Fred Trump's companies to his children," the Times said.

IIRC, they even published it twice because it kind of disappeared the first time, in October. And then it kind of disappeared the second time, because there literally has not been a weekday of this administration that something shocking hasn't happened.

But I'm sure their in-depth reporting on this fake company will reappear when the House Democrats start talking about the Trump businesses; we were all just so preoccupied with the scandals of his administration, but once things really start to crumble after January 3, they will fall apart in an EPIC fashion.

I don't care how old this story is. If the SOL have not run out, they should still pay for their crime. The more we know about this family, the worse it gets. The sickness seems to be genetic.
