Howard Dean said at the time it was incompetence on his part, that he was in over his head in the job. I remember Comey when he stood up to Bush as acting Attorney General when what-his-face was in ICU and Bush wanted to push something illegal.

IMHO, he's a decent sort. He's certainly speaking up now, and that's a good thing.

I think the Republicans will regret dragging him out to face crowds.

I will never forgive him. There is no justification for what he did and he is the #1 reason Hillary lost the popular vote. I know, I know about the other reasons but Comey is the main one. Look at the polls and the dates from 2 weeks before the election. With Russia, social media, etc already factored in she was still pretty far ahead in the polls. After Comey she took a sharp dive and could never recover.

Voting machines were never opened and audited, so we will never know for certain what caused Hillary's loss. Now, will we? Not to minimize what Comey did, but there could be other factors. I've been screaming this since the Nov. '16 election.
