Obama Foundation = Doing good & not under investigation

Clinton Foundation = Doing good & not under investigation

Trump Foundation = forced to shut down & under investigation for multiple crimes.

but linking to one of the Krassenstein brothers makes me feel dirty. They're basically click farmers.

Having said that...

I run a VERY VERY small foundation that gives grants to non-profits (specifically in the area that aids lower income families in housing and medical needs). Despite being TEENY and having a fraction of the expenses that any of the above foundations have, I'm constantly aware of rules regarding non-profits. While I've been asked to sit on boards and planning committees, I won't do it for any organization that we donate to. And I certainly won't give a donation to a school that I've attended. I pay dues (for organizations that we are members of... like the Council of NJ Grantmakers) out of my own pocket. I work from home, yet I don't use foundation money to pay any portion of rent or utilities. I paid for my computer out of pocket, despite using it for foundation expenses.


The Trump Foundation is totally corrupt. I'm glad it's being disbanded. I'm glad none of the trump kids can sit on another board in NY for years. They are all grifters and they should NOT be given the opportunity to control grants. They don't have an altruistic bone in their bodies. NONE of them do.
