Dear Beto, Andrew, and Stacey--Run Again

Truly transforming this country requires more than winning the White House. While Beto O’Rourke, Andrew Gillum, and Stacey Abrams would all be amazing presidential candidates—and probably excellent presidents—they are each uniquely suited to advance the larger cause of political transformation by running again for the offices they just recently sought and fell short of attaining.

I know Abrams just joined the Center for American Progress, but that doesn't mean she can't run

… run again... they would get even closer, which mean win. I like how they didn't try to be less "liberal" - I think voters like candidates who say how they feel and how they expect to compromise.

who captured attention because of what they want to do in office. A book examining the various ways career politicians operate and what they need to do between their official elected gigs would be interesting reading if anyone knows of one.

Because despite being an amazing candidate there wasn’t really much enthusiasm around the idea of an Abrams 2020 (at least, not that I’ve seen).

As of today, I thought about an Abrams 2020 run and I’m loving it. I can’t think of anything greater.

after listening to a GA State law professor talk about her. The energy that woman has is exactly what we need. Same with Gillum. I usually don't like to weigh in on this subject, but these two people have caught my imagination more than anyone else.
