SPLC: 17,000 people in Arkansas lose Medicaid coverage due to work requirements

From the article:

A new report released today by the Arkansas Department of Human Services shows that another 4,600 residents were stripped of their Medicaid coverage this month, bringing the total number of residents who have lost Medicaid coverage because of the state’s work requirements to approximately 17,000.

Sad that so many Trump supporters act and vote against themselves. GOP controlled states are obsessed with attacking the poor and many poor white GOP voters go along with the attacks.

The library was a huge resource for us.

In secondary school, we used Zinn's A Peoples History of the US.

I grew up on Encyclopedia Brittanica - dad got me the whole set when I was 9!

because they don't fear losing elections. In Kentucky Matt Bevin is deeply unpopular over this sort of thing. One poll had him with just a 29% approval rating, but watch when he is up against a Democrat in 2019 he will get reelected, because red state Trump supporters are idiots. There I said it.
