My brief conversation with a trumpster...

So, getting my hair done this morning before the holidays.

A lady talks about her grandson going in the Army. She's concerned for his safety. I tell her that I spent several years in the Army. She's now concerned because of trumpster doing his level best to blow up the world. She talks about how she supported him and liked him.

I just shook my head and said, "I've never supported him. No man worth his salt brags about grabbing women by their private parts against their will."

She says, "They all do it."

"No, they don't," I tell her. "My husband has too much respect for women and himself to treat a woman so horribly. I put a few men on their backs for coming at me like that. If my son ever did that he'd hurt in ways he'd never be able to imagine."

I was pretty forceful about it because it pissed me off that some women will say that about men.

Then she's, "Most do it" and walks off before I can respond.

I have a great hair stylist and she patted my arm. She felt like I did.

A hardcore trumpster who is having doubts about the orange one, but will still blow off his past sexual assaults on women.

I do think that someone like this would vote for him a second time.

Those that have suffered abuse (sexual or otherwise) by creatures who I would not even say are men. They have sadly been battered into submission by the foul creatures like Trump and have been brainwashed or deluded into thinking men behave like those depraved creatures.

That's her point of concern.

She's right to be worried about her grandson.

Go there.

It's possible to entertain two "points of concern" in one conversation.
Grandma would have had a lot less to worry.about had she
not helped make an ignorant scumbag Commander in Chief.

But where I might diverge is if I see an opening to depress the (R) vote I'm going to jump on that shit with laser focus.

And I'll go there you so you won't have to.

Too many women "expect" men to act like the Neanderthals depicted on Mad Men. Then when they do they just ignore their inappropriate behaviors and permit them to continue harassing and abusing women. Her husband is probably one of them, and if she has a son,she allowed him to mimick the same attitudes as her husband while she remained silent and allowed that sort of archaic, self destructive, misogynistic mindset to take root in yet another generation of young men.

“They all do it” “Most do it”

One of the reasons feminists fight so hard is because most DON’T do it, and the culture of rape that welcomes or dismisses sexual assault is repugnant and wrong.

Just UGH. I’m glad I’m a Democrat.
