Why is it

That I read posts daily, usually several per day, advocating the military act to 'protect the Constitution' (wink wink) or Intelligence services 'take care of' leadership (nudge nudge)

These coy statements are advocating nothing less than an overthrow of government. Is our system so flawed that some Democrats are willing to abandon our Republic to praetorian kingmakers, trusting that they will only use this extra-Constitutional method this one time?

Or do they believe only WE get to decide when Constitutional provisions can be ignored?

and before anyone says but... as flawed and un-democratic as it may be, the Electoral College is the Constitutional method to choose a President.

The very last thing I ever want to see in my country is a Military Coup takeover of Government. Once we go down that road, there may be no going back.

Congress is failing us. Bigtime. The next election is 2 years away. Congress could do something in the mean time, but that doesn't seem likely.

One thing that I think might move the Republicans into action is that many of their doaners are in the MIC (Military Industrial Complex), and they might light a fire under them should they see their bottom line effected by his spastic military decisions.

Money seems to be the only thing that matters to these people.

A group of generals will just walk into the White House, remove the current resident and install Mrs Clinton and that would be the end of it.

Congress is failing but the military is not the solution.
