The diaper change is a pretty good idea, though.

It's not just Mueller. Putin, Erdogan, MBS, Coulter, Limbaugh, and, most of all, a non-adulating base.

Baby Donald is as big a coward as the Cowardly GOP enablers in House and Senate.

can have him testify about what he has discovered (all the redacted black lines) live on TV.

He can't derail anything NY AG discovers and he can't pardon anyone she'll indict on State crimes.

He's screwed one way or the other.

Lock him up.

If that fucker's scared because he's finally going to be called to account and he can't just buy his way out of trouble (using other people's money, naturally) or walk away, that suits me right down to my toenails. I hope he loses a LOT of sleep in the coming weeks and months.

I would worry, rather than gloat at his demise.

A psychopath doesn't go down easy without an "I'll Show You" demonstration or act aimed at getting even with everyone for challenging him and his empire. Personally, I would lock up the launch codes and tell the Military to ignore ALL orders coming from him, his kids, or any of his cabinet or cronies..........

but only if he’s creating it directly and in control of it.

He can’t deflect it now that getting all the attention has worked. He’s the grand orchestrator who forgot to give himself a back door to escape through.

It’s amazing that it takes the entire country and the Judicial Branch and the House to simply stop his momentum.

I don’t think they’ll win. This fight isn’t over.

Crises that the "founding" "fathers" could not have anticipated. They were well aware of the weaknesses of mere mortals and the corruption of power. They wouldn't even understand where we are now with cross-boarder telecommunications and the ease to put lies in front of the whole world.

Just like the changes in the stock markets when instantaneous trading became the norm, the political news-storms have made it necessary to have some dampening mechanisms. Some way to impose rational thought.

Just my knee-jerk reaction....

Trump may not exit his cell at all. He is to remain in a 24h lockdown with no privileges. Once every 2 weeks he gets a 15 min shower and 15 min rec.

Every assets he owns will no longer be Trump owned. It will be owned by the U.S. Government for restitution that he will never pay off.

My fears are that population control is much more effective now than it was in the middle ages, the revolutionary periods, the 20th century wars.

With the massive monitoring and identification of you, me, everyone on DU, most others, we may have numbered beds, perhaps numbered days.

I don't see an escape from the state being able to rule the people. Many will welcome it.

Personally, I think the SF writers of the mid-20th century were very prescient.
