he is so below par in every single area it's just stunning how highly he thinks of himself. The scary thing is that I think he really believes it.

Narcissists always think that they, and they alone, know more than anyone else. They don't like it when others question them, correct them, or have a different view on things. They take it as an "insult" and they will do everything in the power try and prove they are right, and everyone else is wrong.

We see this every day with trump.
