All it did was skyrocket last summer and has now fallen back to where it was before the increase, not like it's lower than when he took office.

At that low of a price it is not economically viable to produce oil from shale. ie North Dakota, etc.

it has dropped considerably. I have to use premium in my car and the price has dropped for premium by almost %0.70/gal in the past week.

and the payback period on my hybrid car has stretched out considerably. When I bought it six years ago, I figured gas was going to be $5-6 a gallon.

I never could pick stocks, either, that's why my 401K (and now converted into a rollover IRA) has been in money market funds for nearly all of the last ten years since I started the account. In January, I went into one of those funds that was supposed to be balanced for a 2020 retirement (I actually retired in 2017) and I lost over a thousand dollars in it before I pulled the plug.
