What your state is googling this Christmas. CO: Liquor stores open near me--LOL

?quality=98&strip=all&w=1564

The results, suffice it to say, are interesting – and might surprise you. For example, the top Christmastime Google Search query in the Lone Star State is “Is the Grinch real?” (Texas, you guys ok?) Over in California, it’s “Is Starbucks open on Christmas?” In Florida, it’s simply: “Amazon.com.” There are lots of family-friendly searches in the middle part of the country, with searches about everything from Christmas lights to “Family activities.”

Even the proximity of Canada doesn't necessarily explain it. Unless all we Washingtonians are going, en masse, to B.C. to visit friends the day after Christmas...

We gotta burn off all that Christmas pumpkin pie somehow--or burn some calories we pig out for the holidays.

These days when you can buy liquor at every supermarket or 7/11, buy alcohol at Walmart and Target, there's not a single liquor store left in my city of 50,000.
