Over in California, it’s “Is Starbucks open on Christmas?” In Florida, it’s simply: “Amazon.com.” There are lots of family-friendly searches in the middle part of the country, with searches about everything from Christmas lights to “Family activities.”

These days when you can buy liquor at every supermarket or 7/11, buy alcohol at Walmart and Target, there's not a single liquor store left in my city of 50,000.
