White man bites cop, resists arrest, beats & attacks cops, steals cop car, IS NOT SHOT

Why did the police in this clear case of an out-of-control and dangerous perp never "fear for their lives"? Oh. Because white.

At one point he is BEATING THE OTHER COP WITH HIS OWN NIGHTSTICK. If ever there were a time for a warning shot in the dirt. Why didn't they at least shoot out a tire before the guy drove off?

But as the twitter post points out, it's a stark contrast to police personnel unloading a magazine on a PoC reaching for their wallet to show their license. It's remarkable the amount of restraint the officers show here.

it looks like only one officer could control his arm.

When that happens, obviously, the person being restrained can get free. That was potentially a very dangerous situation.

I suppose they could have known the guy (and known what to anticipate?). IDK. But if it were me, and I lost the arm - I'd feel terrible.
