New York taxes aren't that much higher. Usually its 60 cents over the commodity price which today is 1.38. So someone along the chain is screwing us. wholesalers or retailers ???

If it then drops few cents every other day, it might be the Speedway Effect.

In Plano, TX I saw $1.77 today.

If you’re on the west coast you’ll never see that. You’re oil comes largely from the North Slope and taxes and other factors mean that gasoline in CA is currently close to $4 per gallon. Where you live makes a huge difference in the amount you pay per gallon. Always has.

so it is under $2.00 per gallon. Depends upon where you are at and the gasoline taxes.

And it's gone. We export it while it's cheap, so there won't be any when it gets expensive.

I would never accuse a republican of long-term planning.

Though trump is selling some of it, naturally.

Note I don't know anything about this website, just the first article I found that covers the topic.

Get into a physical embargo, have an exchange of fire

The insurance for the tankers who go through the Straits of Hormutz will be invalid and the movement of 40% of the world's oil will be compromised.

Presto $90 per barrel.

Made much more plausible with the removal of Mattis.
