Leaders of one Turkey's major political parties in August called for the government to seize the Trump Towers Istanbul skyscraper complex, and four months later, Donald Trump acquiesced to a Turkish demand to pull troops out of Syria.

So why did Trump accede to Erdogans demands for a U.S. pullout from Syria? The reasons remain unclear, but four months before Trump made his sudden decision, a major political party in Syria called for Erdogans government to seize the twin Trump Towers Istanbul skyscrapers, according to a report by the Turkish newspaper Hurriyet Daily News.
The call to seize the Trump Towers Istanbul came from Turkeys İYİ Party or Good Party, in English which implored Erdogan to seize the buildings as retaliation for U.S. sanctions against two top officials in Erdogans regime, who were accused of human rights violations, according to an account in Britains Express newspaper. - Inquisitr

(47,282 posts)there seems to be endless connections and corruption, more than I had imagined possible. And he did so much of this crap in front of the whole world, didn't even try very hard to disguise what he was doing. He's not particularly good at devious deceptive behavior, it is just most people couldn't believe someone in his position would even try it.

"Make Trump Great Again." He's an egotistical, failed "business man" in whom Russia has invested LOTS of money, and his main interest is to make people think he's awesome. His presidency, such as it is, seems intended to rehabilitate his own image, not America's. It was never about America. Trump is the only thing important to Trump.
