#Russia's state TV repeatedly asserts: "We are at war with the United States." On a state TV show by 'Channel One,' Russian MP Andrey Svintsov reiterates this common POV: "We are at war. We may not be using conventional weapons, but we are using intellectual and info-weapons."

(32,617 posts)But see, communism is dead and we won that one. Khrushchev was wrong. However Putin wasn't around then and neither was the internet. The reality of 21st century cyber-war is still sinking in here in the USA. Many aren't even up to speed yet.
I believe we're better off looking at what's happening now rather than looking back to Hitler and the Commies. Our technology and social media are the huge game changer that Hitler didn't have. That's the war we can't afford to lose, but by our ignorance/indifference we're falling behind while the Russians jump ahead.

(7,220 posts)There's this weird lack of alarm nationally about the fact that another country is openly infiltrating our country. It's not hyperbole to say that a sitting US president is compromised to the point he is acting in the interest of hostile foreign powers.

(32,617 posts)That's interesting because I'm willing to guess that the Russian people have no idea this "war" is happening.
Whatever they're talking about is straight from Pootie and his gang.

I'm officially scared.
