And that's just the beginning. Even IF the House and Senate agree on a bill and pass it through both houses, Trump can then sit on it for another 2 weeks before they even get a chance to over-ride a potential veto.

A local TV station showed the lack of business at a restaurant that caters to Federal employees.
The restaurant is keeping shortened hours and closing mid-afternoon.
That means no work and no tips for the servers, and cooks and dishwashers, etc. laid off.
How are those employees to pay their bills/

Put that bill to reopen the government on the floor Day 1. If it passes and Trump vetoes it, he's going to look really, really bad.
