1. It's a long week if you are a federal employee not getting a paycheck...

And that's just the beginning. Even IF the House and Senate agree on a bill and pass it through both houses, Trump can then sit on it for another 2 weeks before they even get a chance to over-ride a potential veto.

3. A long week for those whose business depends upon Federal employees working....

A local TV station showed the lack of business at a restaurant that caters to Federal employees.
The restaurant is keeping shortened hours and closing mid-afternoon.

That means no work and no tips for the servers, and cooks and dishwashers, etc. laid off.
How are those employees to pay their bills/

4. Smart move on House Dems part.

Put that bill to reopen the government on the floor Day 1. If it passes and Trump vetoes it, he's going to look really, really bad.
