Am I Right?

Last edited Thu Dec 27, 2018, 10:31 PM - Edit history (1)

Unless you Republicans are complete hypocrites (which you are, but that’s another discussion), you’re going to have a very hard time come January 2021 when the next Democratic president begins his term in the White House.

If you’re not hypocrites, you are going to have to zip your lips for a very, very long time.

If the next Democratic president lies to the American people over 6,000 times in his first twenty months in office, you’re not going to say anything about it – am I right?

If the next Democratic president appoints incompetent cronies to cabinet posts, you’re not going to comment on it – am I right?

If the next Democratic president’s campaign workers, associates and family members are found to have colluded with an adversarial foreign power in order to win an election, you’re going to dismiss it as a “witch hunt” – am I right?

If the next Democratic president shuts the government down in a tantrum because he didn’t get what he wanted, you’re going to sit in silence – am I right?

If the next Democratic president insults our allies and praises our enemies, you’re not even going to mention it – am I right?

If the next Democratic president unilaterally withdraws our troops anywhere in the world against the advice of military experts, you’re going to keep your mouths shut – am I right?

If the next Democratic president appoints his brainless son-in-law to bring peace to the Middle East, and sends his clueless daughter to represent the country at international meetings, you’re going to stay mute – am I right?

If the next Democratic president uses phrases like “shithole countries” and declares himself a “pussy-grabber”, you’re going to bite your tongues and not make a sound – am I right?

If the next Democratic president has his “charitable foundation” shut down due to using it as a personal piggy-bank, mum’s the word – am I right?

If the next Democratic president pays off his mistresses and then lies about it – repeatedly – you’re going to purse your lips and not utter a word – am I right?

If the next Democratic president refuses to attend ceremonies honouring our war dead because it’s raining, we’re not going to hear a peep out of you – am I right?

If the next Democratic president’s closest associates, lawyers, advisors, and family members are investigated and indicted, you’re going to be as quiet as a church mouse – am I right?

The above is by no means an exhaustive list of what you have defended for the past two years. There’s more – a lot more. I don’t think you appreciate the fact that by doing so, you have painted yourselves into a corner of political PR hell. There is virtually nothing that any future Democratic president can say or do that will even come close to the disastrous shit-show we’ve had to witness since you put a lying, dumb-as-a-rock, immoral traitor in the Oval Office.

And in case you haven’t noticed, your current “pResident” has destroyed all of your traditional talking points:

"The party of fiscal responsibility" – gone.
"The party of Christian values" – gone.
"The party that respects our military and our vets" – gone.
"The party of law and order" – gone.
"The party that champions the middle-class worker" – gone.
"The party that protects our national security" – gone.

In November 2020, Mueller’s findings will have been revealed, and voters will go to the polls knowing the depth of your “pResident’s” corruption, greed, and treason – and they won’t forget which party elected him, defended him, and enabled him.

By then, we might be at the point where any Democrat running for office can simply say, “I am NOT a Republican,” and be assured that that phrase alone will probably get them elected.

Just a few things for you to mull over during the Trump Temper-Tantrum Shutdown, GOP!

Oh – and Happy Holidays!!!

to remind them that all those things are gone. Bc if we don't, they just assume we hadn't noticed, and they just start mouthing the words again...until they are full-throated acting like those are still some sort of planks in their platforms.

or GOP hypocrites (I only had one and she drank the Kool-aid so that leaves zero...yippee!) still I would rub everything you wrote in their faces every chance I got after these criminals are in jail or punished appropriately. I would relish the opportunity to shove their racist, greedy, hypocritical BS back in their smug mugs.

that president proposes. We will need to change the rules immideately as soon as we retake the senate - everything will require only 50 votes + VP. Our biggest issue is that by the time trump is done, the entire judicial lanscape will be decidedly RW for decades. We may need to expand curcuit courts to ensure competent majority before we can replace thomas who should be the next one to go. Unfortunately, I beleive thomas will retire in 2019 to ensure speedy replacement by trump (likely Amy Barrett). If you think kavanaugh was scandalous, we’ve seen nothing yet - if thomas retires next year - it will be the battle for the next 20 yrs of our country, nothing is off the table. I hope dem leadership has been doing its research - all candidates on the publicly released list by trump.
