I am a federal contractor. I get no back pay so im losing 100% of my wages. I’m the sole provider and we have toddler and a baby. I often work long hrs that I don’t bill b/c I believe in the mission. Can’t begin to express the anger and frustration... Xmas ruined!#ShutdownStories

I had my daughters tricycle listed for sale online. A woman came to buy it and she was a gov’t employee and saving now that she doesn’t know when she’ll go back to work, so she needed to spend less on the bike she was giving her child for Xmas.

#ShutdownStories I can't shop at the commissary. Even worse, they need to dispose of 1000's of $$ worth of meat, eggs, milk & fresh vegs with the #TrumpShutdown
As the widow of a disabled veteran, my food costs have increased 35% along w all active service until govt. reopens.

My insurance premium is $600 per month & my sons Insulin & pump supplies are an additional $600 per quarter. Barely making it. Now I'll be going to work.....paid in the future. #ShutdownStories
