I am a federal contractor. I get no back pay so im losing 100% of my wages. Im the sole provider and we have toddler and a baby. I often work long hrs that I dont bill b/c I believe in the mission. Cant begin to express the anger and frustration... Xmas ruined!#ShutdownStories

I had my daughters tricycle listed for sale online. A woman came to buy it and she was a govt employee and saving now that she doesnt know when shell go back to work, so she needed to spend less on the bike she was giving her child for Xmas.

#ShutdownStories I can't shop at the commissary. Even worse, they need to dispose of 1000's of $$ worth of meat, eggs, milk & fresh vegs with the #TrumpShutdown
As the widow of a disabled veteran, my food costs have increased 35% along w all active service until govt. reopens.

My insurance premium is $600 per month & my sons Insulin & pump supplies are an additional $600 per quarter. Barely making it. Now I'll be going to work.....paid in the future. #ShutdownStories
