Wall /shutdown just trump gambit to control news cycle in january

I suspect that exiting December 2018 in the midst of a government shutdown was trump’s method of putting the Dems on defense at start of new congress, to control media cycle.

Taking away some of the momentum that the democrats would have had, as the initial media spotlight would turn its eyes on Nancy’s choices.

that there will be years of eminent domain lawsuits before the damn thing could even be built.
