Why the military skews right is beyond me. The only things Republicans have done for the military is to send them to war unprepared and with no plan for victory. When Bush was President I asked a military friend of mine if he supported Bush. “Absolutely “ he relexively responded. I asked “why” and he stood there silent. I said how can you support a president who sent you into a war, this was Right before Bush ordered the surge, without a plan to win and without the proper tools. Serviceman and women were being killed daily by IEDs because troop vehicles were not properly designed or armored. This righty narrative that the left is weak must be challenged.
