Pro-Trump High School Wrestler Loses Scholarship After Yelling Anti-Gay Slur At Protest, Says He’s The Victim

https://thegailygrind.com/2018/07/20/pro-trump-high-school-wrestler-loses-scholarship-yelling-anti-gay-slur-protest-says-hes-victim/

Star high school wrestler Bronson Harmon lost his athletic scholarship to attend California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) after he was caught on video holding up pro-President Trump signs and screaming an anti-gay slur at a political rally.

The 18-year-old showed up to counter-protest a June 30 “Keep Families Together” rally in Modesto, Calif. with his father, in response to President Trump’s “zero-tolerance” immigration policy that separated thousands of migrant children from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border, the San Luis Obispo Tribune News reported this week.

Activist Abdul Lasaing recorded a heated exchanges between Harmon and anti-Trump protesters attending the event.

“I heard a group of men shouting and trying to scare us by saying #sendthemback and even yelled at someone ‘n****r’,” recounted Lansing.

Lansing added: “I was so choked so I automatically pulled out my phone to record and see who was being so disrespectful.”

“Fu-k you, fa-got,” Harmon yells, while giving the camera the middle finger.

Harmon’s father, Todd, was with him at the protest and can be heard yelling “send their asses back.”

The video posted to Facebook and has been viewed more than 48,000 times as of Friday.

Todd Harmon told reporters that Cal Poly had revoked his son’s athletic scholarship.

The school’s communications specialist, Cynthia Lambert, confirmed that Harmon will no longer be on the school’s wrestling team.

this is the way to fight hate - with technology not violence. I wish antifa would employ non-violent tactics such as exposing identities of those freaks with drone footage if necessary and make it go viral, etc.

that get violent really are. I've suggested numerous times that protest organizers could do something about that. Organize some two person teams to follow and film anyone that gets out of line. Young people that can run. Follow them all the way to their cars or whatever if they can. You might even catch them being let back across police lines or something really revealing.

Too bad, so sad kid. Shame your parents didn't teach you about actions and consequences when you were younger.

Dad appears to be the one who taught him to hate.

Hopefully the kid will learn the world does not revolve around him. There are consequences for his words and his actions.

Be nice to see where he is in 10 years - if he was able to shake off his upbringing or if he still sees himself as a victim.

And not just vampires. No one can prevent these cretins from harboring their sentiments, but it IS possible to insure that they never again think it is perfectly acceptable to publicly express those sentiments anywhere, and that it is indeed laden with all sorts of irrevocable negative consequences.

Any student athlete whose behavior reflects poorly on their team can lose the privilege. This is made very clear when scholarships are offered.
