According to CBS News, she died of "H1N1 flu - also known as swine flu - and meningitis."

She was a liar and her commentaries were fundamentally un-American.

The irony of her death is rich. I'm not gleeful but good riddance.

In the meningitis pre-vaccine days.

I was one of the very few, very lucky people who survive. I credit my girlfriend at the time for hauling my ass out of that one. Dying was not an option. Although, the thought did cross my mind a couple of times. But, speaking of karma, I'm pretty sure I burned up most of my lifetime supply of good karma in that incident.
