Howard Dean: Dems can’t negotiate with Trump on shutdown because he’s ’mentally incapacitated’

Former Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean on Sunday called President Trump "mentally incapacitated," and said Democrats can't negotiate with someone "irrational" to end the partial government shutdown.

"I actually think the president is mentally incapacitated and I have thought so for quite some time," Dean, a frequent critic of Trump's known for his polarizing comments, said on MSNBC.

"He says things that he knows aren’t true I suspect and that somehow he thinks that people are going to believe. And they just don’t."

"You can’t really make a bargain with somebody who is irrational, because they won’t keep it," Dean went on to say. "The Republicans and the Democrats in Congress have got to do the best they can to run this country in the absence of the chief executive. Until the Republicans realize they have an obligation to the country, not just their party, that’s not going to happen."

Trump is mentally incapacitated, increasingly isolated in a White House rapidly becoming a bunker.

Howard Dean: "He says things that he knows aren’t true I suspect and that somehow he thinks that people are going to believe. And they just don’t."

In fact, an alarming percentage of the US voting population DOES believe him. To clarify, Individual 1 and his supporters are mentally incapacitated.

Democratic Party leaders need to take the kid gloves off.

The republicans set the stage and ran the show for a while...what was the show???

Hillary's emails, ...Hillary's emails, ..Hillary's emails...Hillary's emails...etc..

that show ran on and on and on...and most people lost interest......that show is dead..

The kid gloves are off It will be Trump's crimes....proven, tried and convicted... and that show will win the prize because that show is totally true..not made up, proven, tried and convicted....

they should have did that oh so long ago with repubs.

If they don't come out of the gate swinging, then . . .

This isn't a game, the normal rules don't apply anymore.

Bipartisanship, "reaching across the aisle," keeping powder dry all mean complicity with the Russians now.
