Obama has taken that step. The Repukes have
put up road-blocks.

(73,536 posts)Thank you for this ..... and not only because JFK was/is my favorite US President. But because it is right, and needs to be understood today, and not merely remembered in history books.

(25,771 posts)the priceless part was about the stimulus. There is a new book out titled the New New Deal and it looks realistically at Obama's stimulus, giving pretty high marks. The author was on.
The really pricelss stuff was about Ryan's history on the stim. The fact that he asked for and took money for his dietict was just the tip of the iceberg. They showed a 2012 clip of him waxing pretentious about why stimulus and Keynesian Economic's are the devil, then they showed a clip of him on the House floor in 2002 arguing for the Bush stimulus.
If you had never seen or heard of him, you might have thought that speech was being given by a Sanders Democrat! A full explanation of haow Keynsian E. has worked in the past and historically helped both save and create jobs in a recession. Then he went home to his district and at a town hall said you have to spend a little to get a little.
It was wonderful.
