I'd like to raise money and help for the CO wildfire victims

I endured Katrina from start to finish, and I know how bad it can be. I am a pretty good network administrator, but I'm not very good at fundraising. What I would like help with is identifying places where funds would be effective, and what I, and anyone that wants to help, can do to help those places.

Katrina was a turning point in my life by how devastating it was. I never want to let anyone endure the lack of resources that we had. I don't know how to get started, though, but I'm willing to do my best to help.

good ones, Habitat for Humanity, some local churches.

Not so good ones, but still workable, American Red Cross and a few other national ones.
