6. He's talking about how his running mate, Paul Ryan, is buddy-buddy with Todd Akin.

Todd Akin, a senatorial candidate from my state, made a disgusting comment today about how rape victims cannot get pregnant because if they were really raped their bodies would shut down production or some crap like that.

Anyway, just google Todd Akin or read any of the threads here. That's the mark that's gonna hurt-he's a direct link back to their candidacy.

What's the big deal? If you don't like it, ignore it. I ignore threads all the time.

7. I know a lot of people say that

that the people agreeing with whatever latest lie or horrible statement, are going to vote for the candidate linked to them. Because I'm a lifelong dem, that has always meant that the folks who were 'misinformed', so to speak, were going to vote repub.

My tale, however, is about one of my grandmothers. Grandfather was a HUGE repub, a real Ronnie Reagan worshipper. We just assumed grandma always voted repub, too.

She didn't. That became clear one night when we were watching a TV show, and Nancy Reagan was on. Grandma opined out of nowhere "I bet she's a real b**** to get along with". Then she said she would never vote for Reagan.

So I think there are a lot of spouses, mainly females, that might not speak up, but vote Dem, opposite of their husbands.

I think that will happen this year.

"If she isn't wounded, then it means she doesn't put up a fight, and it wasn't really rape."

That's another popular belief with these idiots.
