It's all about delegates: Mittens, Santorum & Paul each received 7 delegates

Heck why should Gingrich bow out? he's on the board with 2 delegates.

1. I think Paul will end up with more delegates than that.

His people are much better organized and probably took more delegate positions.

2. maybe, but Santorum ended up winning most counties in the state. So he probably will end up with

I saw a part of the C-Span caucus in Urbandale and when the chair asked for Santorum delegates, no one volunteered right away.

and he won something like 25 counties, many more than the rest of them--so he's bound to get more delegates anyway, despite the lack of organization.

It takes 1,144 to win. He now has .6% (six-tenths of a percent) of the votes he needs to clinch the nomination.
