and at the top of her game.

Her piano recitals and artwork are often overlooked. She was a genuine Renaissance woman.

My dad was a humorist among many other things. She bought several of his gag lines but I don't think he ever cashed the checks.

On Tony Orland and Dawn (I saw this one as a kid and DIED laughing!)

Her first TV appearance on You Bet Your Life with Groucho Marx (saw this on TVLand or Nick at Nite in the 80s, I think)

Oh wait...a third: On Scooby Doo

Hope lived to 100. They must have done something right.

Now they can swap jokes and jabs again.

You were one of the classic comediennes, and you broke a lot of ground for women in standup comedy.

i'm making an observation here, so bear with me...but i've been noticing that many people of this generation are reaching 90+, something not common in the generation before them. also, the generation after them, the boomers, seem to be dying at YOUNGER ages than their parents. something just doesn't feel right about this, and it makes me think that the boomers, the generation that saw so many many changes in diet, lifestyle, pollution, etc., are bearing the negative brunt of it, not to mention gen x and later...
