I like the drubbing that Perry received all around! That tells me that Texas is so wrapped up and in the rethug pocket that all his flaws and fake grandiosity was hidden and not allowed to surface. It also show how powerless and compromised the Texas Democratic party has become for being unable to mount any credible challenge to him or rethugs. I hope that this gives some fiery and adventuresome lower rank democrat the courage to challenge the dead-woods in the party leadership and push for a more proactive Texas democratic party.

But for now - how sweet it is that Perry is down in the first round! Though the unintended result might be that the fool will try to run for a 4th term as governor - consolation price, sort of?
