(2,785 posts)I don't just want us to beat Trump. I want Trump and republicans defeated by the biggest margins possible in both the electoral college and the popular vote and I think Brown would be the candidate that gives us the best chance to do that. The worse Trump loses by in Nov. 2020 the quicker this nation can heal from all the damage he has done.
Sherrod is my #1 for 2020, at the moment.

(3,781 posts)All those years I wished he would run for President, only to have to remind myself that his wife wouldn't let him. Now his wife is ENCOURAGING him to do it. I think he will decide to run. He's making the rounds on ALL the talk shows, and he's on a 3-state tour of early-voting primary States. So I think he's running, but just hasn't announced yet. And not only will he win, but he'll win HUGE.
He's authentic (people can spot a phony a mile away, and he is definitely not one), he appeals to blue-collar, rust belt voters, and he's one of the very few Democrats who's not afraid to drop the gloves and slug it out with loudmouth Republicans (back during the Bush years, he was pretty much the ONLY Democrat who would do it). And he's just so darn likeable.
I believe in him so much that if he decides to run, I've already made up my mind that I'm going to offer to work for his campaign.
