'Gas the Jews': Teens yell anti-Semitic abuse at boys on bus

When Elimelech, 15, and his two 14-year-old friends mistakenly boarded the wrong bus home on Wednesday, they never imagined they’d be taunted with the phrase “gas the Jews”.

The three Jewish boys had spent the day shopping at Chadstone and at 4pm decided to head home. But instead of boarding the bus back to Caulfield, they ended up on one bound for Oakleigh.

It was there they say they sat frightened and confused when a large group of teenagers directed abusive language at them.

“A girl in the group asked ‘What would you do if I grabbed [the skull cap] off your head?’,” Elimelech recalled.

They've been weaponizing social media and converting people in the ways of racism and white supremacy now for the last several years. We should have realized that Crimea was a warning. Now they've knocked off Poland, Hungary, Brazil, the Philippines, Turkey and several others. Who knows where this is leading. They'll make Hitler look like an amateur.

And the progress of the ensuing decades in this country.
I never heard anti semitic things and thought it was largely eliminated.
My mom grew up in WWII France and I am very sensitive these things. I fear these kind of things as being a rise of fascism which I thought I would never see.
I am wrong and it very much concerns me.
