I have not heard anything about Gov. Northam's current views on racism.
Why not use the press conference to talk about his views on racism?
Why have the entire narrative be about the picture?

As a non-racist person, I would be filibustering my current position. Why is he not talking non-stop about inclusiveness and maybe policy?
His team is not advising him well, since he is not thinking of it.

wouldn't he then do everything possible to make policies and positions that are most favorable to African Americans?

He and his Lt. Gov. should be in front of cameras about it.
