Marianne Williamson, a best-selling author. spiritual teacher and activist, announced her bid for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination on Monday. On Thursday, she sat down on CNN’s New Day, where she said the United States needs to pay African-Americans reparations for slavery.

Her platform includes proposal for free public college, universal health care, Medicare for all, a green new deal and $10 billion per year for slavery reparations to be paid over the course of a decade.

“I believe $100 billion given to a council to apply this money to economic projects and educational projects of renewal for that population is simply a debt to be paid,” Williamson said.

with not a damned bit of relevant experience. Given the amount of damage/destruction wrought by this wrecking crew, to think anyone but the most qualified, experienced and determined candidate with a given track record should be considered, is beyond ridiculous.

until it's shown she is. She's a Democrat, voted for Obama likes Hillary, in fact Hillary had her at the White House, she supports Democratic values and ideas. As far as I'm concerned being a Senator or a Congressperson isn't the only qualification needed. I want someone who is willing to go head to toe for the important and much needed conversation about the mess we are in. I'm looking for someone who has the desire and the will to do what has to be done to get our country and the planet back on track. We are running out of time. I don't fear conversation or learning about people or issues. YMMV

Trump is surprised daily that he isn't a dictator and that he has limits on his power by the courts and congress.

Do we really need to put the left wing version of Trump in the White House? She might be singing the right tune but she has no operational capacity to understand how those ideas would become laws.

She came in fourth in the field of sixteen, with 13 percent of the vote.

Perhaps she should have lowered her sights a little?

Her one and only campaign funding doesn't show much. I am not happy she was interviewed by that Cenc tool, but I guess you get appearances that you can.

So show me the Russia connection or that she is a republican in disguise, or learn something and stop bashing democratic candidates.
