Trump is going to fail badly without a Republican controlled congress.

You can already see it and it has only been a month since the Democrats took over the House. This is going to be like witnessing an interstate pile up. The fraud called Trump will be completely exposed.

What I hope that brings on are fragments of a dispirited or disenchanted GOPers that start peeling off. Just enough of them will be a great help in bringing trump to justice. They’ll stick around only as long as they think he’s still viable OR until they think he’ll be too damaging for themselves and their own future prospects.

Throughout the Watergate hearings the GOPers mostly stuck with him - until his popularity started to slide significantly during the spring and summer of 1974 and especially after the tapes came out. The GOPers then became disenchanted and dispirited - not only because it had become obvious that Nixon was involved in the cover-up but because he was no longer popular with voters, which meant their re-election would be threatened. Right now Trump commands the loyalty of about 37% of voters nationally, which isn't enough to win an election but is still enough to scare members of Congress, especially representatives from districts where Trump is still popular (obviously there are districts and states where Trump's numbers are well above 37%). If those numbers start sliding significantly we will see GOPers start to distance themselves from him more and more, maybe even to the point where impeachment could be within the realm of possibility.

We lulled him into a false sense of security and then we unleashed Pelosi on him.

Losing control of one of the two parts of the Congress has put a major kink in his route to success. He had been able to sit back and let the majority write and pass their own favorite pet projects and he was able to sit there and "play president" while they did the work of delivering the breaks to the 1% and their corporate sponsors.

Now that Speaker Pelosi is there to call out the plays, IQ45 is looking around to find the person who had been pulling the strings on his puppet show - only to find that there is no man behind the curtain - he is being exposed as the fraud that so many of us had been saying since that day he rode down the golden escalator and began his attack on America.

From here on out he will continue to reveal himself as a fraud and charlatan - and we will see more and more people awaken from their snake-medicine induced state and realize that we've been screwed (we knew it - they're learning, slowly).
