Supposed free market, but really controlled by oligarchs and mobsters. When it was the Soviet Union it was supposedly a socialist country but was really a centrally planned economy run by a totalitarian government.

Trump is going to pedal fear throughout 2020 and socialism is the centerpiece. The word liberal is not as effective any more so they switched to socialist. I saw how effective it was here in Florida. They tagged Gillum and Nelson as socialists and it turned into 46% saying Gillum was too liberal for the state. We lost two races that should not have been possible to lose, on fundamental terms. The exit polling still uses the term liberal but I guarantee if it asked, "Do you think Andrew Gillum is a socialist?" the result would have been a preposterously high number.

I was worried I'd see stupid deflection tonight and going forward. This guy Fugelsang just provided it. Reality means nothing compared to election-year perception.
