Sadly, Trump's approval will go up.

Obviously the SOTU was horrible and terrifying. Working with terrorists, a new nuclear arms race, the constant fear mongering and riling up his base over abortion lies.

But his base and right-leaning independents will grab those abortion comments and boost their approval of him, completely ignoring the horrible shutdown he caused.

it is usually short-lived and I would think especially so in Trump's case--who will soon be tweeting nonsense again.
