Van Jones: Trump's speech was"psychotically incoherent speech mixing cookies with dog poop"

“He tries to put together in the same speech these warm, kind things about humanitarianism and caring about children,” Jones said on CNN. “At the same time he is demonizing people who are immigrants.”
Fellow CNN commentator former Sen. Rick Santorum interrupted Jones to say that Trump was “demonizing child trafficking.”
Jones ripped Trump for not mentioning or saying “one positive thing” about the immigrants, transgender service members and others who were brought to the speech as guests of Democratic lawmakers.
“Not mentioning is a bad speech?” Santorum shot back. “He’s supposed to mention everybody you want him to mention?”
“If you’re going to talk about undocumented people,” Jones continued, “then talk about the one who drowned saving people in Houston after [Hurricane Harvey], talk about the people who have given their lives to this country.”
