When I bought my house ten years ago, I used a local lender. Two months later they sold my mortgage to WF.

I refinanced about three years after that with Quicken. Same damn thing. They immediately sold it to WF. Again.

It pisses me off that lenders are allowed to do that without your consent.

7. The fire was real. It's not far from me.

The problem is that they centralized all operations at that facility. There was a fire, and now the servers are off power and off-line. No back-up system available that can go online immediately.

I'm sure they did that to save money. Wonder how they're feeling about that today?
