Let me just say how absolutely grateful I am for the Blue Wave

No, things aren't perfect. Trump is still president and our country is still in a mess.

But we are now actually having hearings about gun violence and the detention camps. We're getting oversight over this corrupt administration. We now have at least part of one branch of government acting like it's actually a separate branch of government.

And, of course, there's this, which will probably bring me joy the rest of my life:

So, while we wrestle with all sorts of mess, I just wanted to take a moment to exhale and remember that there is hope for us.

due to the work of millions of people who put themselves in the line of fire to run for office, and knocked on doors, made phone calls, wrote postcards, donated money, had difficult conversations with family and neighbors.

We are no longer powerless.

Thank you blue wave.

Thank you everyone who made the blue wave possible.

Thank you Effie for reminding us that we are a team.
