I am tired of us having to "be the adults" while those on the other side behave like the characters in "Lord Of The Flies".

I am tired of having to "respect the office of the president" while the current occupant of the White House daily defiles it.

I am tired of "waiting for the Special Counsel to do his job" while the APPARENT traitor and criminal he's investigating appoints totally unqualified ideologues to the federal bench who will pollute our justice system for decades.

I am tired of watching my party let the perfect be the enemy of the good.

I am tired of the media often treating racist, misogynistic and homophobic bullshit as simply "a competing view".

I am tired of talking heads who treat moral pygmies like Matt Gaetz, Louie Gohmert, Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham like they are normal human beings worthy of respect.

I am tired--- but you can bet your ass I will be in the fight till I assume room temperature. Tomorrow will be a better day.

13. I'm tired of the GOP using progressive causes to beat up on Democrats

They're great at it, and it's infuriating. They slide that wedge in on a Democratic politician because 20 years ago they held an opinion that is super not cool now, and it just erodes and erodes the trust away more and more each day. To be fair, some of the people they've shamed need to go because that's just how it is, but I just wish it worked on them. They have no shame. You can shame them using progressive causes, because they actively oppose them anyway. And you can't shame them for going against their party line because their party line is so odious that we'd -WANT- them to.
