I think due process is vital.

I don't disbelieve Dr Virginia Tyson or Meredith Watson but Due Process is important for all allegations.

women do on occasion lie about these things and so do guys...I hope an investigation can clear it up. But if not than it is not fair to punish Fairfax for something that may not have happened.

if he steps down, then by default, he is voluntarily waiving his right to due process. He has every right to insist on due process if he wants to fight this.

Even if the law system became involved, it would be very slow, too slow, to resolve this situation even if guilt or innocence could be established.

We never will know for sure what is true, but VA's Democratic Party does have a duty to act. In the political arena, all we can do is try to do what is most right for the people and least wrong.

You might take direction from what VA's Democrats and other voters want. This is their state, their election, their officials, their government, and they are the ones who will continue on with what they are left with when the rest of us turn our fickle attentions to the next event.

...just by the fact that they exist. Investigate, THEN act. This is how it should work. It’s what Franken asked for, Kavanaugh cheated his way out of, and now it’s the right thing for VA. No one should face negative consequences and judgement based on accusations alone.
