From time to time I get asked -usually by teenage girls/ very young women - if that is spelled c-o-c-k-s. When I tell them the correct spelling, they are too embarrasssed to say anything else.

in front of it because it's offensive and people complained.

And now the NI's newly vulnerable. It's not ignored but widely discussed in the news as the intensely dishonest and hurtful, even criminal, publication it is. Enough that many vendors are undoubtedly at least once again discussing whether respectable stores should continue to display and sell it.

Especially at cash registers. A lot would be gained just by moving it away from where everyone stands and sees it to magazine aisles. And that would probably mostly finish NI off also, which they'd know.
