Great speech hitting on all cylinders that are important to Democratic Party voters. Wonderful start to her campaign!

(63,221 posts)I wasn't really a big fan, even though she is my senator and I voted for her. I have always been impressed with what she is doing in her role as senator, but not so sure about her message and presentability. She's pushing all the right buttons here.

(63,221 posts)able to slug it out in the ring with Trump and not go down. I think Biden is titanium in that department. There is no chance that Trump will make him look weak, in fact it will be the other way around. Joe gives as good as he gets. My only concern is his age, but there is great field for him to pick a younger VP candidate from. I think Harris would be a good choice.

(14,570 posts)the Accountable Capitalism Act is my kind of candidate!
What I noticed afterward though, was the pundits on MSNBC. Now, I generally like MSNBC, so don't get me wrong - especially Rachel Maddow and Chris Hayes. And we like Joy Reid, as well.
But these pundits, they didn't talk at all about what Warren said. They didn't talk about the history of organized labor, and about what Warren's platform is.
Instead, they talked about how she would have to overcome the Native American controversy.
Funny, because Trump would just say, "Fuck you," laugh and go on to win another primary. I mean, remember when the guy made the comment about McCain? He should have been OUT right then and there, but no, the hate-filled jerks that make up the ku klux - I mean Republican - base just kept supporting him.
Warren needs to take a page from that book. Because the media is NEVER, EVER going to report on the need for government to regulated the excesses of capitalism, how Medicare for all Americans would work or about the primacy of the shareholder doctrine and how it has been a cancer on our society. Never.
