Mark Blyth. Austerity: The History of a Dangerous Idea

This is a guy who predicted Brexit and Trump. He’s coined the term “Global Trumpism” and discusses why some voters here and abroad want to burn down the system.

Krugman and Reich talk about similar ideas like how it’s a bad idea to cut government spending and contract your economy when inflation is non existent.
